2001 Porsche 996 911 Carrera Cabriolet – 87K

Functionality:

Removed from a running and driving vehicle, fully tested prior to removal from the vehicle. Transmission was able to shifted through each gear with no grinding or malfunctions. Transmission had no audible whines during testing. Fluid has been drained with no abnormalities or sludge. Will ship drained of all fluids.

Physical Condition:

In good physical condition as well with no damage to the housing or input / output shafts. The transmission had heavier fluid residue from the breather port and both axle output shaft seals during testing. Recommend replacing these gaskets prior to purchase. You will need to reuse your existing hardware and shifter cables for installation.

Removed from a 2001 996 911 Carrera 2 equipped with the tiptronic automatic transmission. Will ONLY fit the RWD Carrera 2 models. This transmission is NOT equipped with the optional limited slip differential. Transmission Part #
