Functionality:

Removed from a 2011 E93 BMW M3 Convertible with 77k miles. Removed from a running and driving car, so this motor was able to be fully driven and tested before removal. Engine idles smoothly at 800 rpm with no smoking or hesitations. The internal oil pump is in good working condition with good pressure during operation. It also compression tested with good results (210-215-215-220 / 210-210-215-215). The engine had some oil residue leaking from both valve cover gaskets during testing. We suggest changing this gasket, and any other easy to access seal while the engine is removed from the vehicle. Fluids have been drained with no abnormalities. Ships drained of all fluids.

Physical Condition:

Engine assembly is in good physical condition with no cracks or damage. All mounting points are intact. Free of any major surface rusting or corrosion. Includes everything as pictured, nothing less, nothing more. Includes the intake manifold, throttle body, coil packs, wiring harness, alternator, injectors, AC compressor, fuel rail, and motor mount brackets. There will be some components and hardware you will need to reuse from your existing vehicle.
